Our names are Sabine Lang and Antje Bachmann. We met through the idea of the Welcome Dinner. We are both enthusiastic about the idea and would like to bring this idea to life in Potsdam by helping people from Potsdam and abroad to meet and get to know each other over dinner – true to our motto: “Sharing a meal brings people together.”
Antje is an economist and works as a product manager, Sabine is a lawyer and human resources professional. We run the Welcome Dinner project in our spare time. We are not affiliated to any party or religious group.
Why are we doing this? Because we are convinced that personal encounters are a small but important step towards a better world. But we are also inspired by our own experiences with fascinating meetings, interesting dinners, new invitations and wonderful encounters. We would like to share these experiences.
